Since last posting pictures here, baseball season ended, we moved onto
basketball (which both boys played this year), we are winding down on baseball
right now and football starts on August 4th.  I think it is safe to say that the
boys' whole life revolves around sports!!

These past few months have brought some big milestones for Marshall.  He
graduated from the 6th grade and was awarded the President's
Education Awards for Outstanding Academic Excellence.  Tim and I were
so proud of him.  This year also brought our first encounter with the
"girlfriend".  Kylee just happened to move right around the corner from
us the week school got out.  Uh oh!!  LOL

Harrison has done a good job this past year of moving out of Marshall's
shadow and coming into his own.  He started to take acting serious and
has actually been in two small independent films and had the opportunity
to actually read for a role in the George Clooney film Leatherheads as
well as a William Hurt film called The River Why which is currently being
filmed here in Portland.  Harrison continued to play baseball this year and
has become a standout first baseman.  There has been talk from coaches
about the possibility of him being picked up next season with a traveling
tournament team.  The prospect of this is both exciting and scary!!

Every year the 6th grade class takes their last field trip out to the coast.
The weather this year was HORRIBLE.  This is Marshall and his
good friend Jordan running and jumping in the pouring down rain
and howling winds.  I just love seeing the fun they are having.

This is Marshall receiving his President's Award.  Next to him
is another good friend of his, Drew.  And next to Drew is
Marshall's first true girlfriend....Kylee.  Hey, he picks them
cute AND smart.  Way to go Marshall!!!

This is Marshall and his posse of friends from school.  Marshall
has spent every year of school with this group of kids.

I just love this photo of Marshall.  I think it shows that even
at 12 years of age, he can still act like a little kid!!  LOL

Harrison playing first base.  Check out the ball right at his
knee....headed right for the glove and the out!!

Harrison even had a chance to pitch this year.
