Where as the time gone? When we last updated the page the football season had just ended and we
were headed into the Christmas Season. Since our last update many things have been happening
in the Taunton household. Here is a quick recap before you head off to the photos.
Everyone in the family has celebrated a birthday with Wendy turning 42, Harrison turning 10,
Catherine turning 6, Tim turning 43 and Marshall turning 12. We have had visits from
Grandpa Robert and Grandma Carole to help celebrate February birthday's, and Grandma Jody
who came out to watch Catherine for a week while her babysitter went to Hawaii. We went on a weekend get-away with Grandma Jody to a new indoor water park resort which was a blast. Both Harrison and Catherine had parts in local independent films (Harrison was in two movies, Catherine in one) and
Catherine was selected to be on the cover of the Winter 2008 Hanna Andersson catalog that comes out in October. Both boys played in separate basketball leagues this past winter and Harrison is now
winding down his baseball season. Marshall has been doing some off season football training and even Tim
has been busy attending football coaches clinics. The kids and I managed to attend a Barak Obama
rally and Marshall even threw in a solo trip down to California to visit with Tim's family.
On a website I visit, we were doing then and now photos of the kids. I used a photo of the kids
from when Catherine was just a few months old and then one that I took of them in July. Here they are
for your flashback enjoyment as well.

Catherine had the pleasure of Grandpa Robert and Grandma Carole coming up from
California to help her celebrate at her birthday party. One night Catherine was having tons of
fun tying a scarf around Grandpa's eyes and just playing with him. They also played tug of war
with her scarf. I think it's safe to say that Catherine had a blast with her grandpa.
Being silly with Grandpa Robert.

The day that we attended the Obama rally was the same day that Senator Richardson gave his
endorsement. So not only was the arena excited just to see Obama, but the added excitement of the
endorsement really added to the atmosphere. The boys really enjoyed getting to see a candidate.
This is just after his introduction by Senator Richardson.
Here are some pictures from our weekend getaway at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound Washington.
There are not a lot of pictures of the boys as they were moving so fast I could never keep up with them. Besides, Catherine needed all of mommy's attention since she wanted to really do things on her own, but
still needed a life jacket. The kids had such a great time there that they have asked to not receive any
Christmas gifts this year so that we can spend Christmas there instead. LOL

Here is Catherine riding one of the jet skis in the kids play pool.

Catherine floating in the pool.

Harrison on the lily pad crossing.

Marshall in the wave pool during some down time.

This was one of the most exciting things in the pool.

Over the course of about 15-minutes this bucket fills with water.
The bucket slowly starts to over spill onto the people below.

And then it starts to dump.

And then it completely overturns its contents.
